We’re looking for Senior HR Advisors who are both keen to progress into a management role and passionate about HR service delivery. Operating as HR Operations Manager, this newly-created this position provides a unique chance to drive continuous improvement across HR systems, processes, and governance. You’ll have the opportunity to manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, and play a pivotal role in strategic HR projects.
Your efforts, underpinned by your customer-focused approach, will directly contribute to the smooth functioning and success of the wider business (of a total headcount of c 300 employees).
This role sits in a genuinely collaborative HR team which delivers cyclical people activities and strategic initiatives. Your role will involve supporting the management of the HR central mailbox, acting as a point of escalation, and maintaining accurate employee records.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all HR operations, ensuring effective and compliant delivery.
Drive continuous improvement across HR systems and processes.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and contracts.
Support the management of the HR central mailbox.
Develop and maintain HR policies, ensuring compliance.
Collaborate with the HR team on strategic projects.
Assist with monthly payroll processing.
Maintain accurate employee records.
Deliver monthly and quarterly board reports.
Manage ER casework, including flexible working requests and performance improvement plans.
Skills & Experience required:
Proven experience in HR operations, people management, and payroll management.
CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and employee relations.
High level of discretion, integrity, and ethical conduct.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with Cascade HR system or similar is desirable.
Line management experience and familiarity with regulated environments are advantageous.
