With regular travel across a multi-site network, this role offers the opportunity to influence business performance, lead organisational change, and shape people strategies within a commercially focused, customer-driven environment.
As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you’ll play a key role in aligning people strategy with business objectives. You’ll provide both strategic and operational HR support across a diverse workforce, helping leaders navigate change, build capability and create high-performing teams.
Working as part of a wider HR function, you’ll lead on business-critical projects while ensuring the delivery of a first-class HR service across your client groups.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Partner with senior operational and functional leaders across multiple locations
- Drive organisational design, workforce planning and succession initiatives
- Lead and support large-scale change and transformation programmes
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management and complex casework
- Coach and develop leaders to build capability and improve people outcomes
- Analyse people data and trends to support strategic decision making
- Support engagement, culture and retention initiatives across the business
- Champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing programmes
- Ensure HR policies and practices remain compliant, effective and commercially focused
As the ideal candidate you will have previously operated as a Senior HR Business Partner, and be able to illustrate a track record of balancing strategic initiatives with operational output. You will have previously worked in a multi-site unionised environment where you’ve had to deliver organisational change and business transformation projects. You will be CIPD qualified (Level 5 or Level 7 preferred) and have a strong commercial awareness with the ability to link people strategy to business performance. Flexibility to travel regularly across multiple sites within the Midlands and wider UK network will be required within the role.
If you’re a commercially minded HR professional who thrives in operational environments and enjoys working closely with leaders to drive business performance, we’d love to hear from you.
