Whilst we know we’re great at recruiting, our networks and expertise is not in say Finance or Sales so we wouldn’t feel comfortable recruiting in these areas, or indeed anything which falls outside the HR field.

We’ve got a great network of Recruitment Partners however, people who like us, specialise in the markets in which they operate. Just let us know where you need help and we’ll put you in touch with the relevant team.

As we’re Yorkshire based, it’s fair to say our networks are strongest in the North not that’s stopped us recruiting for clients who value our approach in other areas of the UK including Manchester, South Wales, London and even Jersey!

No. We pride ourselves, quite simply, on placing great HR Talent into businesses, whether they’re growing PE backed start-ups, small corporates or global organisations.

As an owner managed business, any decision as to who we work and partner with are underpinned by our values.

We’re a close-knit team that embraces collaboration and fosters teamwork. Every assignment we take on is fully supported by all three Directors – we don’t pass the work to less experienced colleagues. By leveraging our three respective networks, we engage with a wider pool of HR talent.

Unlike the majority of Recruitment businesses, we split our profits equally as opposed to allocating commission to individual Consultants. This means it’s in all of our interests to fill every brief entrusted to us.

A lot of work goes into recruitment. It’s about far more than posting a job and screening CVs! Collectively, we’ve spent over 60 years in the industry and feel our fees are a fair reflection of our market knowledge and expertise.

Saying that, we know we’re cheaper than many of our competitors as we’re an owner-managed business, with a lower cost base than some of our more corporate peers, and don’t have to follow a one-size-fits-all, rigid pricing model. We’ve been known to agree incredibly competitive fees with clients simply because we like their business and feel they align well with our values!

We’re really proud to have helped a number of graduates and have close links with Leeds Beckett University who run a fantastic BSc (Hons) Human Resource Management & Business course which is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.  We’ve also helped people who’ve wanted a complete change in their professional life, moving from careers in areas such as Retail Management.

We’re pretty relaxed/informal! If you want to come at our offices or a coffee shop somewhere in the Yorkshire region, that works for us. We love a chat over a good cup of coffee or a brew.

We’re equally happy to schedule a Teams/Zoom call to run through your experience and discuss what you’re looking for in your next role etc.

We’ll also meet you somewhere closer to home/ work if that suits you. We’ve been known to meet candidates at Roundhay Park for a walk and a coffee or at Services on the M1 – whatever works for you!

If you prefer to work that way, of course! We post the majority of our roles on our jobs page.

Occasionally, however, we conduct confidential searches for clients which require discretion, and consequently, we avoid advertising on the usual job boards and social media channels. We fill these jobs by contacting candidates we know, trust and in many cases have partnered with over a decade or more!
