They are looking for an HR Administrator to join their growing team on a part time basis. This is a great opportunity for an organised, approachable HR administrator who enjoys working in a varied role and wants to develop their career within a dynamic and people-focused environment.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you’ll provide accurate, responsive and confidential administrative support across the employee lifecycle. From recruitment and onboarding through to payroll, benefits, employee records and day-to-day queries, you’ll help ensure the HR service runs smoothly and colleagues receive a positive experience.
What you’ll be doing
- Preparing offer letters, contracts, contractual changes and other employee documentation.
- Coordinating new starter, probation, family leave, flexible working and leaver administration.
- Completing pre-employment checks, including references and right-to-work documentation.
- Maintaining accurate employee records, files and organisation charts.
- Supporting recruitment campaigns, including adverts, approvals, candidate communications and interview coordination.
- Coordinating onboarding with hiring managers and internal teams.
- Supporting career events and recruitment campaigns to raise our client’s profile within the recruitment and trainee marketplace.
- Maintaining accurate HR system data, completing routine checks and resolving discrepancies.
- Supporting HR technology improvements by testing system changes, reporting issues and helping embed more efficient processes.
- Handling confidential and special-category information appropriately and in line with data protection requirements.
- Producing regular and ad hoc HR reports and highlighting data quality issues or trends.
- Supporting audits, policy updates and continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Managing annual regulatory training and the statement of independence process.
- Collating monthly payroll information, including starters, leavers, absence and contractual amendments.
- Supporting routine benefits administration and managing the benefits platform, including reviewing orders and associated actions.
- Maintaining holiday and absence records.
- Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to routine employee and manager queries promptly and professionally.
- Explaining standard HR processes and signposting colleagues to appropriate guidance.
- Recognising matters outside your remit and escalating them appropriately.
- Coordinating meetings, training sessions and HR events.
- Supporting integration administration and the transfer of employee data following acquisitions.
About you
We’re looking for someone who is organised, methodical and highly detail-focused, with the confidence to manage a busy workload and competing priorities.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous administrative experience in a busy, service-focused environment.
- Experience maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise effectively.
- A professional, friendly and approachable manner.
- Good judgement and the confidence to escalate issues when appropriate.
- A genuine interest in HR and supporting a positive employee experience.
- A-levels or equivalent.
