Fólk Recruitment is partnering with a well-established organisation in Leeds to recruit a Senior HR Advisor with a strong focus on Employee Relations and TUPE activity.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys managing complex ER casework, supporting organisational change, and ensuring best practice across all people matters. Reporting into the Head of HR Operations, you’ll play a key role in providing commercially focused HR support while helping to drive a positive employee experience across the business.

The Opportunity

As a trusted HR advisor to managers and stakeholders, you’ll lead on a broad range of employee relations matters, providing expert guidance and practical solutions to support business objectives while minimising risk. You’ll also play a significant role in managing and supporting TUPE transfers, organisational change programmes, and consultation processes, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong relationship-building skills and a hands-on approach, with employees and managers encouraged to work closely together through a predominantly office-based culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, capability, performance, and workplace conflict.
  • Provide expert advice to managers on employment law, HR policy, and best practice.
  • Lead and support TUPE transfers, including due diligence, employee consultations, and transition planning.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, restructures, and redundancy consultation processes.
  • Coach and develop managers to improve people management capability and confidence.
  • Ensure policies and procedures remain compliant with current employment legislation and organisational requirements.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and wider employee lifecycle activities as required.
  • Contribute to People & Culture projects aimed at improving engagement, culture, and operational effectiveness.

About You

We’re keen to speak with HR professionals who:

  • Have substantial experience handling complex employee relations casework.
  • Possess excellent TUPE knowledge and experience supporting business transfers or organisational change programmes.
  • Hold CIPD Level 5 as a minimum and have an excellent understanding of UK employment law and current HR best practice.
  • Enjoy building strong stakeholder relationships and being visible within the business.
