They have a strong UK presence in poultry, chilled, and bakery foods, committed to delivering top-quality products to the public and our retail and food service partners, including Aldi, Asda, Co-op, KFC, Lidl, Marks & Spencer, Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, and Waitrose.

The Challenge

Partnering with their new HR Director for their Meal Solutions business, we were asked to recruit various HR Generalist roles ranging from Site HR Managers to Heads of HR for a handful of their sites across the UK as they embarked on an exciting period of transformation and change.

These critical hires were needed to help strengthen leadership capability at these sites, support the HRD in delivering a brand new People strategy for the division.

Whilst specific FMCG industry experience was preferred for this role, it was important that candidates had previous experience of working in a Manufacturing environment and could demonstrate their ability to drive complex change at pace.

The Outcome

Using targeted search methodologies and the Folk team’s networks, we developed strong shortlists in 4-6 weeks. The successful candidates for these roles had extensive experience in fast paced organisations, driving change and building high performing HR functions.

We’ve already made a handful of appointments within the business and are continuing to partner with them on other roles as they continue on this exciting journey as a team.
