Founded in 2012 and based in Leeds, Radar Healthcare is a PE backed software company servicing health and social care. With a current headcount of circa 100 employees, the business is growing both organically and via M&A, most recently acquiring Nottingham-based informed consent experts, EIDO Healthcare.
The Challenge
The Directors recognized a need to introduce the role of Chief People Officer to the C Suite as they embark on the next phase of growth following Private Equity investment. They were looking for an experienced individual who could shape and lead a People strategy aligned with their values as a business and their overarching commercial strategy. We took the time to learn about the culture at Radar Healthcare and were given a clear brief about finding someone who’d done this before, with PE and Tech sector knowledge as well as international experience. Ideally, they needed someone within a few months, so we needed to move quickly.
The Outcome
We worked cohesively as a team, speaking to our vast network and presenting a strong shortlist within 2 weeks. We were asked to present a shortlist of 8 candidates who varied in terms of levels of experience, and we discussed with Radar Healthcare’s leadership team who we felt was the closest fit to their brief.
6 of them were interviewed at the first stage, and 3 were taken to a final interview. I’m confident in saying the candidate they’ve appointed is exceptional and a brilliant cultural fit.
