Fólk Recruitment is excited to be partnering with an established national HR Consultancy business as they look to recruit an HR Director to manage a large existing portfolio of SME clients in their Bradford territory. This is a great opportunity for any senior HR professional who’s always liked the idea of being self employed without having to start from scratch with the financial risk attached.
Reporting to a very supporting Head of Operations and working with an amazing network of like minded HR professionals, you will play a pivotal role in driving the retention, growth and development of the business and client portfolio within Bradford. You will be responsible for retaining the current portfolio of clients, leading business development initiatives, acquiring new clients, attending networking events, and providing hands-on HR support to your valued clients.
Day-to-Day responsibilities include:

Service, support and retain the current portfolio of clients.

Executing day-to-day client work i.e. employee handbooks, contracts, advice line queries, TUPE and generalist HR administrative and process duties.

Competent in delivery of on-site and virtual training and development courses.

When required to manage the process and participate in employment tribunals

Develop and execute Bradford’s business development strategy.

Identify and pursue new client opportunities.

Attend client meetings and networking events.

Provide HR support and guidance to clients.
To be considered for the role you must have:
-
Proven experience in a similar senior HR leadership role, ideally within a consultancy or professional service-oriented environment.

Ideally FCIPD or equivalent with excellent generalist HR experience
-
First class Employment Law knowledge and the ability to apply it creatively.

Extensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and legislation.

Experience working with small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Experience in a growth business would be advantageous.

Ability to influence at a senior level.
