Fólk are recruiting for a York-based client who are on the lookout for recruiting its first in-house People & Culture Manager manager to develop and lead its HR function on a part-time basis.

This is an entirely new position which will form part of the leadership team, providing an opportunity for a self-starter to play a pivotal role in the growth of the business.

Reporting directly to the MD, this role has both a strategic and operational focus and would suit an HR generalist who is happy to operate in a hands-on capacity whilst equally contributing at a strategic level. It would ideally suit someone who’s used to working in a standalone role within an SME but they're minded to other backgrounds. 

Our client has a small team of 15 with plans to double in size within the next 12 months, so you'll need to be comfortable with recruitment as part of your generalist role. They have a fun and relaxed culture and are keen to recruit an HR professional who will become a trusted advisor to employees and Directors alike.

The role is part-time for 20-25 hours per week and they’re open to someone who wants to work school hours for example. This person can split their week between work and home as everyone works very flexibly.
