The organisation as a whole is working through an ambitious growth strategy, headed up by a new CEO and a new Chief People Officer. In recent months hundreds of Employees have benefited from exceptional group-wide learning, development and career progression opportunities and this has in turn created a number of vacancies.

Due to one such internal move, our Client is hiring a Senior People Advisor / Junior HR Business Partner who will help deliver the People strategy across one of its Leeds-based businesses, made up of c 250 employees.

Reporting directly into the Head of HR and supporting all areas of this multi-site business, you will deliver a full HR service including, but not limited to:

• Employee relations processes including attendance management, grievances, disciplinaries and management of potentially complex ER cases

• Organisational change activities such as TUPE, reorganisation and redundancy

• Provision of advice and guidance to line management and colleagues on HR policy and procedures

• Design and delivery of training

• Delivery of HR Projects

• Ensuring all HR data is accurately captured on the HR system, from where you will run monthly people reports

• Advising Managers on aspects of Recruitment and liaising with the Recruitment team at group level

Our client genuinely offers flexible working, having adopted a hybrid model. Typically, the HR team tend to go into the office twice weekly. From time to time, you may need to travel to different sites across the country to carry out training and support managers.

Skills/ experience sought

We are ideally looking for a CIPD qualified candidate with previous HR experience gained within a multi-site business. It is expected that you will have experience of advising and coaching colleagues on complex Employee Relations matters. Experience of managing HR Projects and designing and delivering training are also highly desirable.

You must be willing to travel to other sites in the UK. Whilst hybrid working is supported by the business, there will be a need to be in the office 4 days a week, certainly in the first few months, as the HR team is new and will need to build relationships across the business.
